A fast growing rural bank with Head Office in the Central Region is seeking to employ qualified professional / persons to fill the following position: Human Resource Officer

Job Title: Human Resource Officer

Role:

• To manage the day-to-day HR operations (i.e administration of the policies, policies, procedures and programmes of the bank).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall bank's strategy
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Bridge gap between management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programmes
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Complete human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
• Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
• Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past current records

Qualification Required & Experience

• First Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
• Second Degree in MBA, HRM or professional certificate would be an added advantage
• At least 5 years in banking experience of which 2 years must be in a top management level particularly in a rural bank
