A fast growing rural bank with Head Office in the Central Region is seeking to employ qualified professional / persons to fill the following position: Finance and Administrative Manager
Job Title: Finance and Administrative Manager
Role:
• To Manage the financial and administrative activities of the bank to achieve its financial goals
• He/She shall be a member of management team of the Bank and shall report directly to the General Manager
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare annual budgets, final draft accounts (in accordance with IFRS) in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain standards financial and administrative procedures
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of accurate weekly/monthly/annual prudential reports to ARB Apex Bank and Bank of Ghana through the GM
• Supervise and manage payroll processing and tax filing activities
• Ensure effective and efficient operational processes to reduce overall cost of operations
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly management accounts to the Board of Directors through the GM
• Ensure effective and efficient treasury management of the ban
• Provide support to the Marketing team in product development
Qualification Required & Experience
• First Degree in Accounting or Finance and a Second Degree in MBA, Finance option or Chartered Accountant
• At least 5 years of practical experience in accounting in any industry. At least 2 years practical experience in banking - preferably rural banking will be an added advantage
