A medium Scale Enterprise operating in Water production, Detergent production and a Fuel Station is seeking qualified, experienced and self-motivated persons to fill the following position: Production Officer

Description

• The Production Officer is responsible for managing the production activities of the facility to ensure that all internal and external customer demands are met.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirement
• Estimate costs and assist in the preparation of budgets
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
• Monitor production to resolve issues
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc)
• Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc)
• Ensure execution of approved maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc
• Ensure output meet quality standards
• Enforce health and safety precautions
• Any other duty that may be assigned by the General Manager

Qualification Required & Experience

• HND in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years working experience in related role or related environment (food and beverage production)

Skills Competence required

• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• Deep knowledge of production management and an understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Computer skills combined with a well-developed oral and written communication skills
