The Golden Beach Hotels (GH Ltd), Parent company of three reputable Ghanaian owned Hotels located in Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions is seeking to recruit the following positions:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts internal control evaluation and risk assessment to identify areas requiring improvement
• Drafts recommendations on controls and procedures, as well as taking responsibility for overseeing the implementation thereof
• Ensures systems exist for the generation of accurate and reliable financial and management information
• Evaluates financial performance and profitability across all departments
• Reports findings directly to the appropriate authority on various aspects of financial management, including asset management and security, financial reporting and management reporting systems
• Conducts independent and objective assessments of internal controls, financial results, corporate processes, hotel operations, compliance requirements etc
• Partners with management to develop corrective actions plans in response to all internal audit observations and subsequent follow-ups top ensure full compliance
• Helps enhance departmental procedures and deliverable in accordance with professional standards
• Educate and advise management on accounting and internal control requirements

Qualification Required & Experience

• The successful candidate must have all-round accounting experience combined with good IT skills
• Minimum of 5 years experience in managerial position in the hospitality and tourism industry
• Previous experience as internal auditor in a hotel
• ACCA, CA (Gh) or equivalent
• Must be conversant with hotel property management systems (Micro Fidelio)
• Must be conversant with Sage ACCPAC Accountant software
