Job Vacancy For Human Resource Officer

The company is inviting applications form suitably qualified persons, who are interested in the investment banking industry, to apply for the position of: Human Resource Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists in the effective management of the Human Resource needs
• Assists Employee Relations, including Discipline and grievance handling
• Ensures that periodic reports meet set time frames and targets
• Ensures that HR systems are developed, implemented and maintained
• Ensures police clearance for all staff,
• Assist the Human Resource Manager in designing, conducting and initiating training and development programmes for employees
• Helps promote workplace safety and neatness
• Supervises subordinates in ensuring that set targets and objectives are achieved
• Stays abreast of and is able to apply regulatory and HR best practices
• Liaises with relevant officials of other departments in order to ensure that HR services are delivered on time
Qualification Required & Experience
• A degree in Human Resource Management or social science from a recognized university
• 1 to 2 years experience in a similar position is an added advantage
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft office products
