Job Vacancy For General Manager (Operations)



A leading Transport and Logistics Company operating a number of wet and dry cargo fleet and handling major contracts in Tema and Takoradi is looking for a suitably qualified person to be appointed as: General Manager

Qualification Required & Experience

The successful candidate must meet the following essential requirements:

• A first degree in Economics, Statistics or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport
• A minimum of 10 years experience in road haulage/logistics operations and management
• Excellent in developing strategies aimed at reinforcing the company's service image of safety, comfort and reliability
• Excellent skills in staff/budget management, numeracy, analysis, planning, monitoring, negotiating, presentation and report writing
• A valid and clean driving licence
• willingness to work unsocial hours
• Candidate must not be less than 40 years of age
