Job Summary

As its subsidiary, Tullow Ghana Limited, continues to develop, the business is looking to enhance its cadre of senior professionals as above.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Optimise production given various constraints - technical, commercial and operational
•  Lead high quality production engineering and well related studies to maximise production and the overall reliability of the production system - wells, subsea/outflow system
•  Guide all flow assurance, conceptual well design, production chemistry, artificial lift and sand control requirements, in conjunction with other petroleum/reservoir engineers
•  Lead the preparation and updating of Integrated Asset Model(s)
•  Lead the implementation and updating/management of Production Database Management System(s)
•  Lead preparation of well SOPs in preparation for field start-up for the Ghana assets, with the dual objectives of setting standards for the Tullow group worldwide

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering
•  Minimum of 10 years experience with an upstream oil and gas company preferably in offshore environment
•  Knowledge & Skills in PE/PT such as Petex suites etc
•  Experience in high flow rate offshore wells.- Deepwater experience an advantage
•  Ability to coach and mentor junior engineers
•  Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
•  Good communication skills
