Job Vacancy For Office Manager
The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources is seeking for qualified and experienced professionals to fill the under mentioned vacancy at the Ghana Boundary Commission.
Job Title: Office Manager
Job Purpose
• To provide administrative leadership to support the operations of the commission
Main Duties
• Perform general administrative and technical duties to support the Co-ordinator and other officers
• Establish an appropriate system to manage records, transport, estate, security, stores and all assets of the commission
• Collaborate with other officer for the achievement of organisational goals
• Facilitate harmonious relationship between the commission and stakeholders
• Ensure the development of the capabilities, skills, knowledge and career progression of staff
• Oragnise and coordinate meetings, conferences and travel arrangements for the commission members and staff
• Liaise with, finance to maintain the integrity of the payroll and personnel database
• Identify the training needs of staff and develop a comprehensive training plans
• Establish the framework for performance appraisal
• Establish a sustainable welfare scheme for staff
• Undertake any other tasks that may be assigned
Qualification Required & Experience
• A degree in Administration, Human Resource Management, governance, social science or any relevant discipline
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a Public Sector organisation of which at least 2 years must have been in Senior Management level
• A member of a relevant professional body
