Job Vacancy For IT Officer
A reputable public service organisation invites applications from suitably qualified Ghananians to fill vacancy positions in the agency.
Job Purpose
To provide operational support for the achievement of the objectives of the information technology unit
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervises the collection of data for the formulation of IT policies
• Facilitates the implementation of It guidelines and procedures
• Supervises the installation, maintenance and repair of IT infrastructure and equipment of the entity
• Manages the information systems
• Maintains and updates the website of the entity
• Supervises the collection of inputs for the procurement of IT equipment and services
• Supervises the provision of effective user support services in the entity
• Collects data for the preparation of budget and work plan for the unit
• Collate date for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports
• Appraises the performance of subordinate staff
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of qualification of a Master's Degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Computer Science, computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management information system (MIS) any other relevant field
• Must have a relevant field
• Must have a relevant industry skills-based certificates
• A minimum of 1 year post Bachelor's Degree relevant work experience in a reputable organisation
• Must pass a selection interview conducted by the entity in collaboration with the public services commission
