Job Vacancy For Cashier



Mantrac Ghana Limited your Caterpillar authorized dealer for Earthmoving, Construction, Power system and Lift Truck Products. In order to advance our position as the market leader, we invite applications from highly motivated and suitably qualified Cashier for employment in the Finance department of the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Handling all the cash transaction of the organisation within Ghana territory
• Receive payment by cash, cheques, credit card, POS etc. where applicable and issue receipts
• Prepare and check daily cash accounts and collection reports
• Maintaining monthly, weekly and daily report of transactions
• Bank payments-cheque and cash lodgements to bank
• Prepare, manage and reconcile monthly bank certificates
• Manage and pay staff claims and disbursements through petty cash and batch claims
• Manage the release of vendor cheques and records and maintain timely schedules on the same
• Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions
• Handle all ad hoc duties from his/her line manager

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must be a graduate in Finance, Banking/Accounting from a recognised tertiary institution
• Must be computer literate and very proficient MS Excel, Word etc
• Must be conversant with cash modules
• Must have knowledge of general bank/cash policies in multinational environment
• Experience in some financial institution environments will be an added advantage
• Must have good communication skills, be honest, sincere, punctual and have attention for details
• 5 years of work experience in a multinational firm in a similar position will be an added advantage
