A reputable bank in the Ashanti Region invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of: Group Loan / Microfinance Officer

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Facilitating group formation and orientation
• Assist in group formation, screening and training of group members, writing of credit appraisals and loan recovery (weekly collection)
• Be in charge of training of group members on group cohesion and cultivating savings culture etc.

Qualification Required & Experience

• A first Degree or HND with at least 3 years of post qualification experience in a similar position and any relevant professional qualification would be an advantage

Required Skills / Competencies

• Knowledge and experience in loan appraisal writing
• Knowledge and experience in loan classification
• Analytical, critical and enquiring mind
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
