UPPF Operations Manager

Scope & General Purpose

Monitor the activites of Bulk Road Vehicles and ensure accurate computation of freight cost from point of loading to various destinations.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

. Liaise with oil Marketing Companies (OMC's) to ensure timely collection of UPPF payments due to the fund and reimbursement of OMC claims.

. Perform analysis on the freight cost of distributing petroleum products nationwide.

. Monitor stock levels of Petroleum products at the depots and advise the UPPF coordinator on product supply situation.

. Compilation and analysis of data on distribution of petroleum products.

. Advise the UPPF coordinator on product distribution issues at the deposts.

. Ensure compliance with industry regulations at the depots.

Qualification, Skills & Competencies

The candidate must have:

. BSc. in engineering / Sciences. (Background in statistics / Economics may be considered)

. At least 6 years industry experience, 3 years of which must be at the level of an operations/logistics manager.

. A fair knowledge of the geography of the country and must be willing to travel across the country at all times.

. The ability to analyze data and make sound judgment.

. Desire to learn new concepts and pay close attention to detail

. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

. Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
