The Presbyterian Centre for Vocational Instructors' Development (PRECEVID) is a centre of Excellence to train Professionals for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Ghana.

Job Summary:

PRECEVID is a new and still evolving centre located in Kumasi and seeks dedicated, energetic and competent persons to occupy position in the Hospitality Unit.

Role:

•  Prepare lesson plans for training room instruction in Guidance & Counselling, English and French using approved curriculum
•  Conduct  training modules to increase trainees' knowledge and competence using visual aid such as graphs, charts, video tapes and slides
•  Research and input into course content, learning materials and methods of instruction to achieve set goals and objectives
•  Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in his/her field of specialisation

Qualification Required & Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from an accredited University and completed courses or gained experience and expertise in the areas indicated above

Competencies:

•  Skills in both verbal and written communication
•  Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Competency-Based Training (CBT) and assessment approaches
•  Ability to carry out detailed research using the Internet
