Job Summary
The successful candidate will work with the IA Group comprising 2 companies by performing the following functions:
• Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations;
• Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationship
• Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers. This can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers
• Arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials
• Organise and attend events and exhibitions
• Carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness
• Evaluate marketing campaigns
• Monitor competitor activit
• Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the organization and the campaign;
• Solicit for adverts for the group’s children magazine
• Maintaining and updating customer database
• Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
• Organizing photo shoots
• Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;

Qualification Required & Experience
Knowledge and Skills
• Presentable appearance with excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Creative thinking and the ability to learn, assess and apply new concepts
• Good marketing acumen and the ability to assimilate and process technical, marketing and sales information
• The ability to gather data, analyse sales figures, consumer demand and market research
• Self-motivation, with drive and enthusiasm
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Effective interpersonal, organisational and planning skills
• The ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team
• The confidence to ’sell’ their ideas
• Good business sense, an awareness of budgets and attention to detail
• Excellent computer and IT skills
Qualifications
• HND or a degree in one of the following:
• Marketing
• Communications
• Advertising
• Business and management
• A qualification from CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) or any related professional body would be an added advantage
• A minimum of two year experience in areas such as sales, public relations, marketing, and customer service is required.
