General Purpose:
To carry out routine maintenance and repairs on the organization's vehicles.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Candidates should be holders of HND in auto or electrical engineering from a recognized Polytechnic or tertiary institution
•  Candidates should have Five (5) years relevant post qualification working experience, with three (3) years in similar position
•  Work experience in Chinese and Indian trucks would be an added advantage
•  Candidates should have a good knowledge and experience in the use of vehicle diagnostic equipment
•  Must be computer literate

Technical Competencies:

•  Ability to understand the components and mechanisms of 4 and 6 cylinder engines
•  Ability to understand automotive computerized equipment and the use of diagnostic tool to analyze and solve both mechanical and electronic malfunction of an engine
•  Ability to understand the interaction of different vehicle systems and components
•  Ability to identify genuine spare parts and the use of right tools for the right job
•  Ability to understand workshop best practices and safety

Other Competencies:

•  Ability to write simple technical report
•  Must have excellent interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work under pressure without supervision
•  Must be a good team player
•  Must be ready to work for long hours
