Ahafo Community Bank Limited, Head Office in Kukuom in the Ahafo Region of Ghana, invites application from suitably qualified applicants for the position of: Internal Auditor

Duties / Responsibilities

• Undertake internal audit assignments
• Pre-audit all proposed expenditure to ensure compliance with laid-down internal control system and other statutory requirements
• Monitor and ensure that all expenditures incurred have been authorized and are within budgetary provisions
• Evaluate existing internal control system and make recommendations for improvement
• Carry out an investigative process in response to irregularities or procedural violations

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
• A professional qualification would be an added advantage
• A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification and work experience in similar role

Required Skills & Attributes

• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Good planning, quantitative and analytical skills
• High integrity, confidentiality, firm and fair
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Must be very good in T24 emerge banking software
