Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant must be willing to travel to either South africa or Nigeria and will be responsible to the country manager and group financial controller. The job functions for this position include but are not limited to the following:-

•  Management and development of the finance function in the company
•  Drive efficiency and process improvements and maximise accounting solution to support and develop finance processes
•  Producing monthly financial and other management reports for the company, to UT Holdings and managing the statutory requirements
•  Analyse and evaluate information from the financial reports and provide management with proposals on best practice in financial operations
•  Responsible for annual budget compilation and implement budgetary control procedures of the company
•  Ensure that all the financial regulations are adhered to activities
•  Ensure that all reports to regulators and other external parties are submitted on schedule
•  Ensure the data integrity of all the company's financial records.
•  Train subordinates and other staff members on sound accounting practices
•  Organise monthly performance review session to ensure profitability of projects and business units

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A good Master's degree in a business related field and a professional qualification in ACCA, CPA, CA (Ghana) or other relevant professional accounting qualification
•  Experience of working at a senior level within a finance function and international accounting
•  Experience of working within a highly regulated, pressurised business environment
•  Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant post qualification experience
•  Sound knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis and control techniques
•  Adept at Microsoft Office products and accounting softwares
