We are one of Ghana's leading real estate companies. We develop and build middle income residential sub division/estates. Our company is currently developing a 1,600 unit (Single and Multi family) housing project and is looking for an Executive Director of Construction and Project Management to manage all aspects of its construction process.

The company aims to deliver 200 to 250 two - three bedroom single and multi-family housing units in a years using sand crate blocks.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Bachelor's degree in planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
•  Masters Degree in Construction or Project Management. A PMP certification is a plus
•  15 years of experience in capital planning, resource allocation and project management, with an emphasis in residential home delivery.
•  Proven leadership skills managing a construction group. Good decision making and problem resolving skills
•  Experience with budget planning, execution and control.
•  Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and construction process. Strong focus / discipline on process and methodologies
•  Experience supervising multiple construction teams.
•  Proven Ability to work with business units and understand business needs.
•  Strong communication and presentation skills
•  Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
•  Excellent leadership and communication skills

Primary Duties

•  Leadership responsibility for all aspects of the company’s construction process as well as its internal production facilities. To manage construction projects from beginning to end resulting in  successful and timely project completion.
•  Responsible for the implementation of the company's five year construction plan and ensuring that housing units meet quality standards and are delivered on time
•  Provide technical direction and leadership to the construction team. Is responsible for providing ongoing status reports to senior management, and ensuring on time deliverables. Is responsible for driving projects to successful completion, resolving all project related issues and overcoming any roadblocks.
•  Directs technical resources who are responsible for scheduling and tracking various tasks during all phases assigned projects, including requirement, design, implementation and on-going support.
•  Overseeing, managing and coordinating people. processes and activities to ensure efficient operations; assisting construction managers in developing plans to organize and direct work activities. Develop,negotiate, award and manage subcontractors.
