A reputable production and export company requires the services of a Dispatch Rider.

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Department: Transport
Reports To: Position of your boss/supervisor Transport Manager
Direct Reports: Positions Reporting to your role None

Job Purpose

• To ensure the safe transport of documents from one location to another.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Map out routes ahead of time to determine the most convenient.
• Ensure cleanliness of the Motorbike at all times and report any issue(s) to the Transport Manager.
• Use navigation applications to determine best routes.
• Interact with clients professionally at all times
• Ensure that the Motorbike is always fueled and ready for use
• Log all trips, keep an up-to-date record of mileage and repairs.
• Follow traffic regulations.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Proven experience as a Dispatch Rider.
• A valid license A holder
• A clean Motor riding record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to maintain your calm in stressful riding situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• Ability to read and write
