VACANCY: CHIEF CLINICAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position in the Ministry of Health, Department of Health Service Management, tenable at various facilities

• VACANCY NO: 33 of 2022
• SALARY: DI (P950,004.00-P186,926,00 per annum)

BENEFITS:

• Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50s, Employee pays)
• A contract of 34-36 months with gratuity of 30% payable at the end of contract.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master of Arts/Science in Clinical Psychology
• A minimum of two (2) years as Principal Psychotherapist or eight year’s work experience in relevant work

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• To coordinate and evaluate effectiveness of Physiotherapist service and delivery

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Interprets physiotherapy policies and procedures to stakeholders.
• Provides advisory services on physiotherapy expertise to stakeholders.
• Monitors physiotherapy Clinical Audits
• Monitors compliance to the set physiotherapy standards by service provides in various health facilities
• Coordinates out-reach services.
• Monitors and evaluates the implementation of physiotherapy policies and procedures.
• Coordinates the development of the department’s budget estimates
• Train in management and leadership
• Updates junior colleagues about the latest development within physiotherapy through literature review
