Job Vacancy For Project Lead
A not-for-profit organisation in the technology space is looking for a Project Lead to join its team.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement plans with project staff, partners, technical specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure effective programme implementation.
• Ensure that research studies envisaged by the programme are designed, planned and conducted to high standards.
• Manage stakeholder and partner relationships for programmes that require a coalition of support for execution.
• Ensure monitoring system and tools developed are used by programme staff to track progress and capture learnings.
• Monitor programme expenditures against budgets and preparation of financial reports on a regular basis.
• Develop relationships with NGO partners, governments and other stakeholders in development of programme initiatives.
Qualification Required & Experience
• 8+ years’ experience in office administration, project or programme management and business development roles.
• Educated to Bachelor’s degree level
• Significant experience in forging partnerships including negotiating partnership or teaming agreements, programme design, proposal writing, budget development and managing donor and other partner relationships.
• High level of understanding of project cycle management approaches, project appraisal, monitoring and evaluation and partners’ capacity building.
• Considerable experience in budgeting/financial procedures and writing management and financial reports for senior management and donors.
• Successful track record in securing multiple high-value contracts and funding from bilateral / multilateral donors, foundations and the private sector.
• Experience with managing programmes or projects at a non-profit organization or NGO with funding from donors, foundations or the private sector.
• Bi-lingual in French and English (is an advantage)
