Job Vacancy For Sales Agronomist



A reputable company in the Agri-business sector is seeking to recruit Sales Agronomist to sell value added agronomic products and prospect for new customers as well as engage in relationship building with stakeholders

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales and delivery of bulk fertilizer, chemicals, seeds and other products with staff to meet objectives and maintain an efficient delivery system
• Make sales calls on all potential customers in the trade areas
• Work with other departments and stakeholders to grow overall company sales and market share
• Initiate sales contacts, understand customer needs and present applicable products and services
• Provide outstanding customer services to growers
• Actively engage in cross selling opportunities
• Provide innovative solutions to customers
• Grow volume of sales with existing customers
• Increase customer base year over year

Qualification Required & Experience

• Degree in Agriculture / Animal Biology or related course
• 2 to 3 years work experience
• Proven ability to delivery exceptional customer services
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
• Knowledge and understanding of crops, chemicals, fertilizer and seeds
