Position: Chief Commercial Officer (Ref: CCO)

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership and full accountability/responsibility for sales and business development operations of Rlg Communications Ltd. The role covers strategy implementation and deployment of product suite across the network, in addition to the following:

. Prepare overall sales and marketing strategy
. Drive product sales, channel and distribution participation model efficiency
. Analyze market trends, recommend changes to sales and product deployment strategies based on analysis and feedback
. Build and maintain a high performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of team members

The ideal candidate:

. Experience with sales and marketing budgets, P&L, and forecasting
. Strong business person who thinks about issues from a business perspective; brings strong business & financial acumen to the role and uses this to complement his/her functional depth
. Excellent analytical skills, with great attention to detail
. Extensive exposure in B2B and B2C marketing techniques
. Strong negotiation skills
. Ability to build relationships and influence purchase decisions through networking
. Prior experience in a senior marketing/sales role preferably in an FMCG environment
. At least a strong first degree in Marketing (Post Graduate qualification would be an advantage)
