A reputable company in the Hospitality Industry seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and motivated person to fill the following position: Cashier

Key Responsibilities

• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile this with total sales
• Compute and record totals of transactions

Qualification Required & Experience

Core Competencies Required

• A minimum of Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principle
• Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment
• High proficiency in IT
• Ability to work within a team
• Excellent communication skill
• Excellent customer service
