A reputable rural bank in Ashanti Region is looking for experienced and suitably qualified person to be considered for the following vacant position: Risk and Compliance Officer

Job Purpose

• The Officer will assist the Risk and Compliance Manager to coordinate, review and ensure full implementation of policies and procedures established by the bank as well as external compliance regulatory policies and directives in the financial industry in Ghana
• The officer will together with the manager, internet with external auditors as matters related to audits of the organisations internal controls and assess potential risk areas and compliance breaches

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of university degree in business, preferably in accounting or finance from a recognised university
• Part professional qualification in ACIB, ICAG, ACCA, etc
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in rural banking environment
• Suitably applicant should also possess relevant experience in banking operations
• ACIB and Master's will be as added advantage
