A reputable rural bank in Ashanti Region is looking for experienced and suitably qualified person to be considered for the following vacant position: Assistant Systems Administrator (Technology Officer)

Job Purpose

• Support the systems administrator / technology manager in the configuration, implementation, maintenance and management of a robust and reliable technology infrastructure that underpins the operations of the bank and its branches
• This applies to all hardware and software systems required by the bank
• This strategies role will also involve the prompt diagnoses and resolution of any problems as they arise whilst exhibiting patience and effective communication skills when dealing with management, team members and users
• The goal will be to execute the technology needs of the bank are met with minimal disruption

Qualification Required & Experience

• BSc/BA in information technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, professional certification (e.g Microsoft certified systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus
• Proven experience in systems Administrating, Networking or similar role
• Experience with databases, network (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detections systems) and data backup/recovery
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role preferably in rural banking environment
