Job Vacancy For General Manager



An electromechanical company dealing in the sales & servicing of pumps and its accessories as well as the manufacturing electrical control panels is hiring a General Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily activities related to production and operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Create and oversee a high-performance and successful sales team
• Assist with budget preparation, maintain and optimize expenses
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports to Director
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
• Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
• Oversee the shipping and receiving functions
• Coordinate with other departments to determine labor needs to meet production goals.
• Assist with, or prepares and update, organization’s operations manual and policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Masters degree with Electro-Mechanical background; MBA is an advantage
• Ten (10) years of experience in leadership/ managerial role
• Proven knowledge and experience in sales management
• Proven knowledge and experience in financial management
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
