Assistant Sociologist Wanted For Employment By Energy Commission
The Energy Commission seeks results-oriented individuals for the above position.
Job Purpose:
The job holder will assist the Head of Office of Social, Environmental and Technological Impact Assessment Division.
Key Responsibilities:
. Undertake research and baseline studies
. Conduct impact monitoring for energy programmes and projects and
. Review and analyse socio-economic, socio-cultural and political issues in the energy sector
Qualification Required Or Experience
A Good Degree in Sociology, Psychology or Political Science with at least 2 years post qualification experience
Competencies:
. Knowledge in research and analytical techniques
. Knowledge in Project Management and Evaluation
. High computer proficiency
. Good knowledge of the role of other regulators in the energy sector
. Competencies in report writing and presentation
. Ability to work with little or no supervision
. Team player and good interpersonal relations
. Ability to travel and work in remote areas of Ghana
. Self-motivated and proactive
