Business Development Manager

1. Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

. Prepare business Development Plan(s) for UT Logistics and ensure its successful implementation
. Develop and deliver the business plans(s) through carrying out research, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business reports
. Provide direction and guidance to the Marketing Department to ensure alignment with the Company's strategies
. Effectively gather market intelligence on UT Logistics business products and conduct due-diligence on suppliers.
. Provide analytical support to management in evaluating new businesses products and transactions.
. Assist in direct marketing of UT Logistics products i.e Clearing and forwarding, warehousing, collateral management, and haulage
. Supervise the regular update of the UT logistics website
. Manage UT Logistics Debtors Portfolio and ensure the adherence of agreed payment plans with clients

Qualification, Skills And Experience

. 1st Degree in Business related field preferably Marketing Option from an accredited institution
. 2nd Degree in a business related field preferably and / or professional qualification in Marketing will be an advantage.
. Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience, 3 of which should have been in a Managerial position
. Adept at Microsoft Officer suite, SPSS, economic views and other comparative analytical tools.
. Excellent analytical skills
. Ability to work long hours with minimal supervision and must possess good interpersonal skills
. Possession of a high sense of integrity and excellent interpersonal skills
. Excellent communication skills
. Possession of strong customer service skills
