The Energy Commission seeks results-oriented individuals for the above position.

Job Purpose:

The job holder will report to the Head of Office of Social, Environmental and Technological Impact Assessment Division.

Key Responsibilities:

. Undertake research and baseline studies
. Develop and implement projects in collaboration with relevant agencies,
. Conduct impact monitoring for every programmes and projects and
. Review and analyse socio-economic and environmental impact of energy-related projects

Qualification Required Or Experience

. Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Geography
. Masters Degree in Economics, Environmental Science or Sociology, with at least 1 year post qualification experience

Competencies:

. Knowledge in research and analytical techniques
. Knowledge in Project Management and Evaluation
. High computer proficiency
. Good knowledge of the role of other regulators in the energy sector
. Competencies in report writing and presentation
. Ability to work with little or no supervision
. Team player and good interpersonal relations
. Ability to travel and work in remote areas of Ghana
. Self-motivated and proactive
