Job Vacancy For Accounts and Administrative Assistant



Job Purpose

The Accounts and Administrative Assistant in this capacity shall provide overall administration and financial support to the organization. S/he will ensure that the office is running with minimal challenges on operations

Major Responsibilities

• Reconciles field expense report and input into financial force
• General management of the office, ensure regular supply of power, water, internet, ensure timely supply and adequacy of office supplies e.g stationery, ink, paper, proper maintenance and safety of office
• Supports in the preparation of reports on expenses, office budgets for consumables, stationery and other expenditures
• Coordinates routine maintenance and repairs on systems
• Facilitates the collation of invoices as part of the procurement procedures
• Assists in event planning and management
• Assist to organise and maintain documentation and filing systems according to Solidaridad's standards
• Responsible for accommodation arrangements of arriving staff and visitors
• Ensures database of all hotels in SWA operational areas is updated regularly
• Efficient coordination of staff uses of office vehicles

Qualification Required & Experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or other related fields
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a reputable organization (international organizations, consultancies, bilateral agencies etc)
• Accounting background and computer literacy are a must
• Knowledge of Tally accounting software
