Job Title: Accounts Officer
Department:  Finance
Reports to: Head of Finance
Location: Head Office, Accra

Job Purpose

•   General responsibility in accounting, assets inventory and statutory obligation payments.
•   Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
•   Collating, analysing and recording financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
•   Maintaining of asset register and undertaking of inventory control to ensure accountability of all company asset.
•   Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management report.
•   Ensuring a high level of safety standards are maintained within the immediate working area and within the organization.

Competencies

•   Broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex accounting issues.
•   Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
•   Engagement in more critical and confidential aspects of accounting.
•   Computer Literate and usage of various accounting software.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   1st Degree in a relevant field
•   At least three years hands-on practical accounting experience.
•   Practical experience in monthly bank reconciliations.
•   Experience in preparing monthly financial statements.
•   Ability to work without supervision and be a team player.
