Job Vacancy For Actuarial Officer



Job Purpose:

Responsible for actuarial and research

Key Responsibilities:

•   Performing in-depth quantitative analysis on various insurance products in the organization and recommending rates in order to turn these products profitable
•   Liaising with external actuary in order to carry out successful valuation exercise
•   Liaising with National Insurance Commission in order to satisfy their requirements with respect to the organization
•   Creating comprehensive actuarial and financial models in Excel
•   Carrying out monthly in house valuation.
•   Determining the technical liability of the company from time to time
•   Performing research on the life insurance industry in Ghana and providing detailed analysis of competitor products
•   Assisting HOO in coming out with profitable life insurance product for the market
•   Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed from time to time
•   Has direct control over Premium Administration Unit

Reports to: Head, Operations

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University Degree \Advanced professional certification from a recognized Institution in Actuarial Science
•   At least 3 Years hands on experience in the field
•   Computer literate
•   Diploma in Insurance
•   Creative flair
•   Multi tasking
•   Self confident, outgoing and not easily intimidated
•   Reliable and trustworthy
