Job Vacancy For Admin / Human Resource Officer (3 Positions Available) At Vehicle Assembling Plant Limited

Role Purpose:  
Administer/implement HR systems, policies/procedures and benefits with a view to providing efficient HR services to all employees so as to maintain industrial harmony, productivity and good working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Implement Human Resources Management policies and procedures to ensure consistency and uniformity in their application.
•   Monitor the actual Head Count of employees at Vehicle Assembly Plant and prepare monthly manning reports for review by Admin / HR Manager and update the manning register.
•   Coordinate and provide the necessary support in the recruitment processes (e.g. shortlist of applicants, arrangement of logistics, etc.) in accordance with approved HR polices/ procedures.
•   Coordinate and monitor all contract and temporary engagements (local and international) in line with approved HR policies/ procedures and labour regulations.
•   Process/Administer employees’ Personnel Actions including re-imbursable claims (e.g. leave, sick offs, medical, advances/loans, etc.) for approval in line with established policy guidelines.
•   Handle/respond to HR operational enquiries from employees in Vehicle Assembly Plant Limited within prescribed limits of authority.
•   Liaise with departments to ensure that the placement, orientation and probationary period of new employees are strictly adhered.
•   Maintain and update Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in accordance with directives.
•   Maintain/update employee records and files.
•   Coordinate and support the Company in the administration and management of training programmes.
•   Provide support in the implementation of the performance management system at the Vehicle Assembly Plant Limited.
•   Collate data for the preparation of monthly/periodic HR Reports.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A University degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences or related discipline plus 3 years relevant work experience.

Knowledge and Skills

•   Knowledge of Labour Laws and regulations
•   Knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures.
•   Knowledge of the HR Management System.
•   Planning and organizing skills
•   Conflict management skills.
•   Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•   Very good interpersonal skills
•   Ability to meet deadlines and execute projects.
•   Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and HR software/tools.
