Key Responsibility
ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT:
• Receives and processes Visa settlement credits on a daily basis. This entails effective co-ordination with Treasury Operations which receives the daily positions on Card settlement account with SCB NY and the Edit Package reports.
• Checks daily entries for Issuing & Acquiring for accuracy and does any required reversals in an efficient and timely manner.
• Rectifies all anomalies and outstanding items identified after investigation of Card Centre’s Suspense Accounts.
• Reverses any items defaulting into Computer Suspense promptly and efficiently to prevent imbalances in the Centre’s accounts.
• Receives and processes all third party transactions (GHIPSS and CUP) on a daily basis , this entails effective monitoring and settlement of transactions posted into SCB Nostro accounts.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Tertiary Education in Banking & Finance
Experience
• Minimum of 2 year experience in Card operations
• Understanding of Accounting processes
REPORTS
• Monitors Visa Settlement accounts with SCB NY and raises relevant entries as required.
• Transfers balances to Main Settlement accounts with SCB as required
• Responds to transactions on the Edit Package reports daily by raising required vouchers to balance various cards suspense accounts.
RETURNS
• Assists in the compilation of relevant statistics in the Operations area as and when required and update stakeholders.
