Job Vacancy For Assistant Adverts Sales Manager



We are looking for a results-oriented individual who thinks outside the box to contribute towards growth and profitability by development and implementation of marketing communication plans to maximize media sales revenue within the framework of the annual budget and overall business development strategy of the company.

Key Accountabilities

The postholder will assist the Advert Sales Manager to:

• Develop and implement media sales strategies including visits to potential and existing customers and canvass for advertisement placements in all of the company's newspapers
• Develop business relationships with potential customers with the object of translating the relationship into media purchase
• Undertake sales promotion with key customers and for newspapers with the object of building brand preferences, loyalty and circulation volumes
• Develop strategies to minimise customer complaints on print quality of their advertisement among other, and to retain and increase the customer base
• Monitor electronic, print and outdoor media
• Analyse the business environment and make recommendations on the development of new products and/or enhancing existing products to grow the company's revenue base
• Develop/manage/co-ordinate revenue generating events, promotions and supplements

Qualification Required & Experience

• A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Science or Communication from a reputable tertiary institution
• Four (4) years post qualification relevant experience gained from working in a dynamic environment
• Working knowledge of the print media industry would be a distincy advantage
