Job Vacancy For Assistant Finance And Accounts Manager



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•   Prepare and ensure accurate financial reports, including cash flow and forecast
•   Review bank reconciliation statements prepared by the accounts officer(s)
•   Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual budget
•   Prepare tax computations and ensure filling of same with the GRA
•   Develop, coordinate and report on relevant key financial performance indicators
•   Must be knowledgeable in IFRS
•   Shall be able and ready to embark on trips to branches for inspection
•   Any other responsibilities that may be assigned
•   Must not be more than forty-five (45) years

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce or related field and a qualification in accounting (ACCA OR ICAG)
•   Must have at least three (3) years post qualification work experience in a similar role
•   Knowledge in accounting standards and principles, including month end closing processes
•   Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft excel
•   Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with personnel from all levels internally and externally
•   Committed, responsible and able to work under pressure within limited time
•   Applicants must be familiar with accounting applications
