Job Vacancy For Assistant Finance Officer

Responsibilities

•   Expense analysis and petty cash management
•   Vendor payments and reconciliation
•   Preparation of bank reconciliation statement with proactive actions taken on reconciling items
•   Reconciliation of branch current account including raising debit and credit notes
•   Good knowledge of compliance and Tax laws for Ghana
•   Preparation of customer's statement of account
•   Recording of statutory payments such as VAT, WHT and PAYEE
•   General Ledger review with focus on reconciling balance sheet accounts are required
•   Ensure proper filing of documents in the Finance Department for easy retrieval
•   Any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications

•   A degree holder in Finance / Accounting option or its equivalent
•   A part 2 holder in a professional accountancy course.
•   Minimum of 2 years work experience in Finance / Accounting preferably in a similar role
•   Familiar with ERP Accounting software, INCADEA knowledge will be an advantage

•   Good understanding of accounting principles, systems and techniques
•   Good understanding of Microsoft Office tools
•   Methodical approach and ability to maintain accurate data systems
•   Good numeracy and financial awareness
•   Attention to accuracy and detail
•   Self motivating and able to prioritize and plan own workload to meet deadlines
