The Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana is the professional accountancy body established by an Act of Parliament to regulate accountancy and audit practice in Ghana.
ICAG is a body corporate established by law, which among others, regulates the practice of Accountancy in the country, including certifying persons who can practise as auditors. It is committed to strengthening the accountancy profession, improving support for members and safeguarding public interest.
Job Summary
The institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana, as part of its expansion policy to bring the institute and accountancy profession closer to its members, students and the general public is recruiting, Assistant Manager for its new office in Cape Coast to cater for the central and western region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent the institute in the Central and Western Regions of Ghana
• Manage the cape coast office
• Organise outreach programmes at the tertiary institutions in the Central and Western Regions.
• Canvass for new students and members,
• Support student new recruitment, retention, training and registration
• Visit and actively support the district society activities within the regions
• Prepare monthly report to the secretariat
Qualification Required & Experience
• A bachelor degree from a recognised university
• Qualified ICAG an advantage
• Computer literate with good knowledge in MS Power Point, MS Word,
• MS Excel, and MS Access,
• Experience to managing a team
• Good written and spoken English
Location: Cape Coast and Takoradi
