Job Summary

•   To serve customers and handle bets.
•   To work with computerised equipment

Work Activities

•   Give information about odds and prices
•   Taking payments for bets
•   Pay out winnings to customers
•   Balance takings after closure
•   Making sure that the shop's satellite Tv and video feed is working
•   Operate computerised betting and till system
•   Check that digital display boards are showing correct information

•   Check that printers all working
•   Report any suspicious betting patters or underage gambling to shop manager

Work conditions

Travel: during working day is not frequent unless managing several shops

Entry Requirements and Training

•   Open to non-graduates and graduates of all disciplines
