Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) is a Limited Liability Company with the mandate to build, own and operate the infrastructure for gathering, processing and delivering natural gas to industry in safe, cost effective, responsible and reliable manner.

We are currently seeking suitably qualified persons for the following position: Board Secretary

Key Responsibilities

•   Organise Board and committee meetings in consultation with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board Chairman
•   Take minutes of proceedings at meetings
•   Guide the Board collectively and individually as to their duties and responsibilities
•   Make Board members aware of all relevant regulations and legislations related to their functions
•   Prepare meeting aware of all relevant regulations and legislations related to their functions
•   Provide inputs for the preparation of Board work plan (calendar of activities)
•   Coordinate management reports for consideration by the board
•   Organize induction programmes for board members

Qualification Required & Experience

•   LLM and LLB from an accredited tertiary institution and must be called to the Ghana Bar
•   Minimum of 10 years post call experience

•   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•   Good negotiation and administrative skills
•   Excellent oral and written communication and analytical abilities

•   Good knowledge in Industry & Regulatory changes
•   Excellent oral and written communication and analytical abilities
•   Strong planning and organization skills; and ability to resolve sensitize legal issues
