A reputable  financial institution seeks to recruit for the position below: Branch Manager

Job Purpose

•   To coordinate and supervise the administrative, business development, loan recovery and customer service operations to ensure the profitability and productivity of the branch

Key Responsibilities

•   Develops business strategies for managements approval and implementation
•   Plans and coordinates work schedule of branch to ensure that they comply with organisational policies and procedures
•   Provides a superior level of customer relations by meeting and visting customers to promote sales and customer retention
•   Ensures all applications have been assessed per Credit Policy
•   Supervises loans disbursement and ensure full recovery
•   Submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports on branch operations, Portfolio performance and outreach activities
•   Advises on branch recovery strategies to adopt
•   Monitor branch expenses to ensure compliance with budget
•   Any other duties that may be assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum qualification of degree in Marketing/Finance/Accounts or any related field and
•   4 years relevant working experience as a Branch Manager

•   Knowledge of banking laws and regulations
•   Experience in credit analysis and arrears management
•   Ability to inspire clients to give their best in order to maintain 100% repayment
•   Good knowledge of SME & microfinance environment
•   Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

•   Ability to relate well with subordinate and customers
•   Ability to work under pressure and manage stress
•   Ability to develop, establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
•   Trustworthiness - ability to conduct self in a manner which elicits trust, integrity, respect and confidence of team members
