A leading financial institution seeks to fill some vacancy and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position: Branch Manager - Retail Banking

Job Objectives

• Responsible for developing the branch to increase sales, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction
• Champion the formulation and implementation of strategies, plans and programs for the delivery of the bank's products targeted at the Bank's customers and generate revenue.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Generate new revenue opportunities from existing & prospective customers in all market segments
• Provide customers with solutions that leverage a full range of the Bank's products & services
• Partner with Banking Services, the Risk Management Group & other stakeholders to provide exceptional service to customers
• Ensure achievement of monthly and annual targets
• Ensure zero tolerance for inactive/dormant accounts
• Profiling of customers, conversion of incomplete records and providing market insights for strategic initiatives
• Ensure branch operating cost is within approved budget. Convincing and negotiating with customers to buy the Bank's products & services
• Overall responsibility for the drive for deposit mobilization, LAD, FX and enhance profitability
• Manage and deepen relationships with both existing and prospective customers
• Ensure effective risk asset appraisal, disbursement and monitoring
• Provide overall guidance and direction in the execution of the branch functions and activities and manage all staff in the branch to achieve increased value creation, volume of business and enhanced profitability for the bank
• Prepare periodic management report on activities of the team at Monthly performance reviews
• As part of the Bank's information security require,emts. amd comply with the principles and policies in the information security handbook

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum education: First Degree in any discipline/relevant professional qualification
• Minimum of 5 years experience in retail/business banking
