Job Vacancy For Branch Supervisor
• Reports To: Credit and Deposit Managers for the respective functions
• Location: Branch
Job Purpose
Responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a branch office, including operations, lending, Savings, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Market the Bank’s products to ensure growth in the Asset and Liability book.
• Developing and implementing sales plans/activities to acquire profitable business relationships between the Bank and its customers.
• Pro-actively managing costs by monitoring expenditure against productivity and budgets
• Manage operational risk for the branch to prevent losses and other associated risks.
• Carry out and oversee general administrative, operational and HR duties in the Branch
• including managing staff on Know Your Customer /Anti-Money Laundering Policies.
• Maintaining existing client relationships, attending to client’s needs and managing their expectations.
• Ensure excellent customer service by continuously reviewing and maintaining efficient and customer focused processes.
• Implementation of plans for customer retention and effective delivery of products and services to existing business customers.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the Branch staff including their development and welfare.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelors’ degree in Business Management, commerce or Business Administration;
• Proven branch management experience of at least 4 years in delivering retail banking and business relationship with a medium or large size bank;
• At least 5 years’ experience in a financial institution, bank or development institution, 3 of which should be in managerial capacity;

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate and maintain positive relationships with staff, local government, and other agencies;
• Understanding of accounting and financial management issues affecting the banking sector;
• Strong credit analysis, communications skills and team leading and working abilities;
• Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams to achieve goals through teamwork;
• Awareness of and sensitivity to local culture and political settings as may affect the banking market;
• Good oral and written communication skills;
• Customer service orientation and commercial awareness;
• Strategic perspective.
