A reputable company in the financial services industry seeks to fill a vacancy for Business Development Manager.

Job Purpose:

A business development role that aims at positive contribution to the growth of a profitable portfolio of investors and borrowers within approved policies thereby achieving agreed targets and profitability.

The Manager will establish and grow the client base of the organisation, promote and raise brand awareness or popularity of the brand. The personnel shall be responsible for establishing the company's brand as an industry leader.

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Act as a liaison between the company and its clients
•   Established and maintains a pipeline of clients
•   Work in line with the company's business development strategy
•   Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Applicant must have first degree in Business Administration (marketing) or any related field from a recognised institution
•   An MBA degree in a related field is an added advantage
•   Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role
•   Background in the financial institution is an added advantage

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

•   Candidate should have experience in business development techniques in non-banking financial services.
•   Applicant must have strong customer focus and service-driven
•   Applicant must be self-driven, values based, innovative, independent adaptive and results-oriented person
•   Must have good presentation skills
•   Must have a good customer service skills
•   Must be a multi-tasked person
•   Must have a very good communication skill
•   Must be able to write business reports independently
•   Should have valid driving license
