Business Development Manager For Photovoltaic Hybrid Solutions
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for promoting the organisation solutions at genset operators in the region
• Responsible for generating project leads of the organisation PV hybrid solutions within the region
• Support of the entire sales process and coordination with the organisation HQ
• Identify and implement market penetration strategies for the target market in close cooperation with the organisation HQ
• Acquire new customers and develop long-lasting relationships by providing professional technical solutions and consultation for the organisation innovative products
• Maintain and expand business with existing key accounts
• Prepare tenders and consequently plan, coordinate and execute large-scale PV hybrid projects
• Ensure the smooth running of projects through his or her network, including local authorities and utility companies
• Act as a close liaison with the local Managing Director and the PV hybrid departments based in Germany
• Set ambitious targets and devise concrete plans to achieve them on international and national levels
• Attend trade shows and conferences
Qualification Required & Experience
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration combined with a keen affinity for technical products
• At least 3 years of working experience as a customer-oriented sales professional mainly with key accounts within the Genset business and large scale project partners of sophisticated technical products, ideally in an internationally-oriented company
• Knowledge of the local electricity market, ideally with contacts to authorities, utility companies and Genset Operators
• Excellent communication skills and sound technical knowledge, coupled with a dynamic approach to sales
• Very good English language skills
• Willingness to travel across the country and neighboring countries as well as to attend trainings in Europe as required
• Highly customer and success-oriented, flexible and able to work as part of a team
• Can-do personality with a trailblazing spirit who likes working independently and provides effective solutions
