Job Summary:
We seek to appoint an experienced Business Development Lead who will build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a lean but very efficient business development team in order to establish the companys portfolios as market leaders. This position is based in Accra.
Responsibilities:
• Identifies, locates or proposes new business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Enhances organizations reputation and position by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
• Fosters a relationship with potential and existing clients so their business and contracting needs are understood.
• Prepares tenders and their associated commercial evaluations and business cases.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements with the sales team.
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new opportunities with company strategies and operations.
• Estimates needs and goals potential and existing clients.
• Collaborates with potential and existing clients in initiatives for enhancing company performance and margins.
• Build and develop a strong and motivated Business Development team
