We are a multinational cable company that offers the widest possible range of products, services, technologies and know-how. We operate in the area of underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution of special cables for applications in many different industries and of medium and low voltage cables for the construction and infrastructure sectors

For the telecommunication industry, the company manufactures cables and accessories for voice, video and data transmission, offering a comprehensive range of optical fibres and copper cables for all connectivity systems

You will be based at our office in Accra, but you will be required to travel very often to the region under your responsibility:

Job Description and Responsibilities

•   Locate or propose potential business deal by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
•   To be able to work independently keeping high level of self-motivation
•   Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities recommending equity investments if any
•   Develop negotiating strategies and position by studying integration of new venture/material opportunities with company strategies and operations, examining risks and potentials, estimating partners needs and goals
•   Close new business deals by coordinating requirements according to company policies, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations
•   Work in respect of conditions defined with supplying unit / your direct manager in terms of price and commercial conditions
•   Manage the potential stock business to supply construction products to end clients or contractors and controlling the level of stock
•    Manage the weekly report to send to company HQ or to the subsidiary with has specific oversight over the sales in the selected countries
•   Ensure proper management of potential stock located in the country confirming values of inventory and quantities
•   Protect the organisation's value by keeping information confidential
•   Enhance the organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
•   Control the order received from clients and their proper execution from the subsidiary and follow up until the payment is received
•   Submit regular reports on the offer done, on the orders received and on the sales executed
•   Select the priorities between Ghana and Nigeria according to instruction from your manager. Initially scope will be Ghana market. Priorities selection from your manager will be applied for business development by sector
•   Potentially become responsible of the local branch / subsidiary of the company and act respecting all local laws and in compliance with employer regulation

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A track history of commercial success is required please provide it
•   A technical background and knowledge for the electrical cable business is required jointly with the knowledge of the electric sector
•   Knowledge of telecom sector and FTTH and FTTA is welcomed
•   A high English level of proficiency to fluency express and explain in details the activities done and/or interface with foreign clients and with the employer management team
•   A potential employee must have a car and a driving license (fuel used for professional purposes to be covered by the company)

Conditions

•   If you are selected, a contract will be offered complying with local regulation
•   Your salary made by a mix of a fix part plus a variable part based on the sales
