Job Vacancy For Business Modelling Manager (TAS 001)
A leading professional services firm that offers exciting careers and opportunities is looking for competent professionals to fill vacancy in Transaction Advisory Services. The successful applicants shall have the opportunity to work across disciplines within Assurance and Advisory Services.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Business Modelling Manager shall:
• Specify, design and build intermediate/complex without supervision
• Plan and perform detailed reviews of financial models and supervise the project team providing guidance where necessary and consulting with directors and partners as appropriate
• Set and agree budgets and produce project plans and progress reports, keeping senior staff on the assignment informed
• Assist directors to achieve target fees by supporting in product and proposal development and other selling initiatives
• Build strong internal relationships within the business modelling team and across other service lines
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
Coach and develop team members
Qualification Required & Experience
• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Analytics or a related field
• An MBA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA or other recognised professional qualification
• A minimum of seven years relevant working experience preferably in a professional services environment and exposure to high profile transactions would be a distinct advantage
• Experience in financial modelling; particularly, in fields of acquisitions, refinancing, project finance (including PFI/PPP) or other corporate finance transactions
• Ability to work with model users to identify their particular needs, to design, specify and implement appropriate solutions to address those needs
• Independent model review and testing skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to understand, manipulate and interpret financial data and commercial documentation and reports and draw appropriate conclusions
• A sound grasp of IFRS or other relevant GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
