Job Description

Lancaster University Ghana is looking for two (2) dynamic, hardworking individuals to fill the position of Call Centre Executives.

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Call Centre Management
•   Act as the first port-of-call (answering initial enquires) to admissions process,
•   Call and follow up on all leads,
•   Assign all leads,
•   Vet and review responses to admissions enquiries,
•   Assist with advising applicants on programme choices and other aspects of the admissions process,
•   Maintain and manage information on all enquiries using the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system,
•   Articulate and support the customer value proposition to ensure differentiation from competitive offerings,
•   Record all contacts, meetings, communications and presentations with clients in the CRM system,

Applications Management

•   Process applications,
•   Provide advice and support to applicants throughout the admissions process,
•   Respond to standard admissions mails,
•   Provide advice and information to departmental staff on overseas institutions and qualifications, non-standard applications and English language scores, as appropriate,
•   Make recommendations in line with ‘entry criteria’,
•   Communicate admission decisions to applicants,
•   Oversee the maintenance of records on the database of applications received, offers made and intake,
•   Send out correspondence to applicants regarding scholarships,
•   Ensure that prospective students receive appropriate pre-arrival information,

Conversion

Oversee the conversion of activity from enquiry to application; application to offer; offer to acceptance; and acceptance to registration in conjunction with programme teams,

Marketing/Recruitment Events

•   Organize Open Days and Recruitment Fairs,
•   Undertake school visits,

Provision of Management Information

•   Oversee the maintenance of relevant databases for prospective students including personal details and admissions status and decisions,
•   Use the relevant databases in order to produce detailed monthly admissions reports for use by the programmes,

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good first degree,
•   Professional Certification in Sales and/or Marketing,
•   Significant knowledge and working experience in Sales and Marketing,
•   Good report writing, facilitation, presentation skills,
•   Good IT skills,
•   Very good communication and negotiation skills,
•   Good people-management skills,
